Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1955 film Le Amiche is playing at Film Forum June 18-24. If you don’t know it, now’s your chance to see this romantic melodrama about “friends” in 1950s Turin. The movie is based on “Tra donne sole,” a story by Cesare Pavese.
